This statement by the former national soccer player after the World Cup quarter-final between Germany and Algeria in 2014 in Brazil was the starting signal for icebein . And since its beginnings in Brazil in 2014, icebein has had one big goal: As a brand by athletes for athletes, we want to offer all athletes the best possible regeneration after training and competition sessions.
We want to make cryotherapy accessible to everyone. All athletes should be able to benefit from the therapeutic advantages of cold, regardless of whether they are amateur or professional. At the same time, it must be possible to offer cold regeneration without having to sit in ice-cold water.
The solution: A system that enables a controllable and constant temperature and works without ice cubes or other cooling elements... That's why we founded icebein AG in June 2018.

2019
The first recovery system
After almost 1.5 years of research and development, the first generation of the icebein recovery system was ready for the market. The first stock arrived in October 2019.
2020
First collaborations
Despite the global Covid-19 pandemic and the restrictions on private and sporting life, the first collaborations have been announced. These include the ATP & WTA tournaments in Stuttgart, Berlin & Mallorca. In addition, some well-known sports clubs and associations.
2021
Trust is growing: icebein goes to Olympia
5 national associations use icebein to train their athletes during the Olympic Games in Tokyo
regenerate. We also support other athletes directly on site.

The Zverev brothers become part of icebein.

2022
New generation of icebein legs
Almost 2.5 years after the market launch, we have optimized our icebein legs based on valuable customer feedback. The result: an improved material for the softshell pants with Velcro fasteners that are easier to close, stronger connectors and a new connection outside the pants. The highlight is the computer-optimized water flow in the pad, which enables even more efficient cooling. These improvements underline our commitment to continuous development and customer satisfaction.
